One of the most common reasons that new churches fail is the
selection of the wrong lead planter. Church planting is lonely. Its
demanding. It takes a strange mix of teachability, humility, and
entrepreneurialism. Many planters sense the calling, but unfortunately few
take the step of formal assessment to get feedback from other experienced church
planters.
The Church Planting Assessment Center is designed to help
you discern your calling to church planting by affirming your strengths and identifying
your weaknesses.
The assessment is an intensive multi-day experience which
combines interviews, interactive exercises, individual and group presentations, and
written evaluations by peers, assessors, and the candidates themselves. The
experience culminates in a written report with recommendations on the suitability of a
candidate to lead or participate in a church plant. Most planters find the feedback
invaluable in preparing them for the challenges ahead.
